The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Target Audience: Teacher / Course Creator

Language: English

Description of Presentation

Help - MoodleMoodle is effective as a Help Desk for teachers, parents, clients, employees - think of the population you serve. By building answers to most frequently asked questions, you can use Moodle to deliver the quick answer as well as more indepth training. And better yet, mesh together visual, infographic, and print versions of the answer so that the learning style of the participant is fully engaged.

This presentation will cover:
* features of the Moodle structure
* suggestions for organizing categories of information
* templates for standardization
* guidelines for content
* searchability of content

Linking Moodle to your business or school website enhances the communication you provide to your public - and in certain instances, to your staff.  By the end of this presentation, you will be prepared to consider use of Moodle in place of other forms of content management as a tool for improving your processes.
