If you would like to present at this year's iMoot, or view the list of approved presentations, you have come to the right place.

The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Legal aspects for eLearning in Germany

Content Type: How To's

Target Audience: Teacher / Course Creator

Language: English

Description of Presentation

Germany is the country for regulations.

  • Do you know that copyright is defined differently in Germany and US or Switzerland?
  • Do you know what data protection means in Germany?
  • Do you know that some types of eLearning have to be registered by a governmental agency?
  • Do you know that eLearning could be vroadecast in some cases?

Sounds curious.

I will give  a short overview about legal aspects if you plan to offer eLearning in Germany.

Note: I'm not a lawyer, but a long time practioner in eLearning.
