Description of Presentation

The presentation will cover some of the key issues in Online course facilitation with emphasis on Gilly Salmon's 5 step model.  How to motivate and engage learners: what to be doing at each stage of the course, writing a course and communication plan, working in forums and managing group work.  We will give some hints and tips on how to reduce facilitator workload.

Mainly for fully online courses but also has application in blended environments.

This is aimed at teachers and others who are beginning to intermediate Moodle users.
