Elton LaClare
Elton LaClare, Lecturer at Sojo University
Elton has spent the last few years working with students, and exploring ways in which the Moodle LMS can enhance the efficacy of instruction in second language listening. His primary concerns are with the issues of feedback and learner control and how they interact to improve learning outcomes. He has both a theoretical as well as a practical interest in this area, and pitches his well received presentations toward what is likely to be of use to classroom teachers. Elton will be talking about the ways in which Moodle's suite of tools can be used to enhance the development of listening skills for second language learners.
