Presentations

If you would like to present at this year's iMoot, or view the list of approved presentations, you have come to the right place.

The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Thanks!

Live demo: How to fix a bug in Moodle

Content Type: How To's

Target Audience: Administrator / Developer

Language: English

Description of Presentation

Last year, arranged at the last minute, I did a live demo of fixing a bug in Moodle, and submitting it for integration (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05BXj_Jeuzo). If you think it is worth repeating that, then I am game. Some people seemed to enjoy the session.

Alternatively, if you think it might be more fun to get someone else to give that session (you could try Dan Poltawski, or one of the other Moodle HQ developers) then I would not be offended. Actually, I think it would be more fun to get someone different to do it this year. If you would like me to help find a victim volunteer, then let me know.
